已有多位國際學者聯名投書Lancet期刊譴責病毒人造說，並附上多篇論文，表示經病毒基因組分析，這些論文絕大多數認為本次病毒和許多新興病原體相同，都來自野生動物。
■「中國台商訂10、20萬屍袋，推論近期疫情趨嚴重」：無直接證據，但Bloomberg等外媒皆有從不同角度報導中國可能隱瞞實際疫情。
