這是外國網友在 youtube 上的創作，「彩虹屁」是後製合成的，與防疫、上海地鐵都無關唷。
原始影片是 2016 年 1 月 Youtube 頻道 BANANA FACTORY 創作的搞笑影片。影片敘述中有提到，影像確實是由熱感攝影機拍攝而成，不過放屁的部分是後製合成。
Youtuber ElectroBOOM 實際拍攝吹風機做實驗，用熱感攝影機拍攝運作中的吹風機，會發現雖然吹風機的噴嘴有高溫，但吹風機吹出的熱風並沒有顯示在攝影機中。ElectroBOOM 表示，這是因為氣體的密度太低，釋出的紅外線無法被攝影機偵測得到。
Discovery《流言終結者》也有破解過相同題材的影片，實驗發現接近體溫的氣體確實沒有辦法在熱感影像中顯影。
