碳酸氫鈉(小蘇打)是鹼化尿液的最好方法,也是痛風發作的第一療法。若不能服用小蘇打,可改用檸檬酸鉀。如果不喜歡小蘇打水,可加檸檬酸鉀。或小蘇打水加一匙電解質粉(含檸檬酸鉀,味道比較好)。從250CC水加 1/8 茶匙小蘇打開始,每隔幾天,增加到 1/4、1/2 茶匙。依照痛風發作程度,每天服用1-3次,每次間隔1小時。飯前一小時空腹食用。

1. 芹菜葉 (Celery leaves)

4. 百里香 (Thyme)
5. 大量綠葉蔬菜

2. 少吃鈉 (鹽)
3. 吃增加一氧化氮的食物(芹菜葉、酸櫻桃、綠葉蔬菜)
4. 不吃水果、果糖、精緻穀物和精緻糖與碳水化合物
5. 不吃木醣醇
6. 拒絕酒精(尤其是啤酒)
7. 不要吃阿斯匹靈、利尿劑等
